Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between TVM Logistics Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you, the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. About Us

TVM Logistics Ltd provides courier, logistics, removals, storage, and specialist transport services across Northern Ireland, Ireland and Great Britain.

We are based on the outskirts of Greater Belfast.

2. Our Services

We provide services including (but not limited to):

  • Courier and parcel deliveries

  • Same-day and scheduled deliveries

  • Commercial and business deliveries

  • House and flat moves

  • Student moves

  • Furniture and household item transport

  • Motorcycle transport

  • Art and sculpture transport

  • Storage solutions

All services are provided subject to availability.

3. Quotes and Pricing

  • All quotes are based on the information you provide.

  • Quotes may change if job details change (for example: item size, weight, access issues, waiting time, or extra stops).

  • Prices are given excluding VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • A booking is only confirmed once we have agreed the price and details with you.

4. Bookings and Cancellations

  • Bookings should be made in advance where possible.

  • If you need to cancel or change a booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if a job is cancelled at short notice or after a vehicle has been dispatched.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking.

  • Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due on completion of the job or as stated on the invoice.

  • Invoices not paid within 60 days may incur interest at the Bank of England base rate plus any reasonable recovery or collection costs.

  • We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about the items to be moved or delivered

  • Ensure items are properly packed unless packing is agreed as part of the service

  • Ensure safe and legal access to collection and delivery locations

  • Inform us in advance of any special requirements, restrictions, or fragile/high-value items

We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

7. Items We Cannot Carry

Unless agreed in writing, we do not carry:

  • Dangerous, hazardous, or illegal goods

  • Explosives, flammable materials, or toxic substances

  • Cash, jewellery, or items of exceptional value unless specifically agreed

It is your responsibility to inform us if any item requires special handling.

8. Liability and Insurance

  • We take reasonable care of all items in our possession.

  • Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the extent permitted by law and any insurance cover in place.

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Pre-existing damage

    • Poor packing by the customer

    • Delays caused by traffic, weather, ferry crossings, or events outside our control

  • Any claims for loss or damage must be reported to us as soon as possible after delivery.

9. Delays and Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, accidents, weather, mechanical breakdowns, strikes, or ferry/transport disruptions.

10. Storage

  • If we provide storage services, separate terms may apply.

  • Items stored remain the property of the customer.

  • Storage fees must be paid as agreed.

  • We reserve the right to withhold or dispose of items in line with the law if storage fees remain unpaid.

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.

12. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland / United Kingdom, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the UK courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
